Here is a video series of one of the most insane summers ever: Life is unpredictable and after two years of closed borders with the pandemic and now a delusional Russian dictator, plans had to be changed a little bit.
Instead of the setting course to Mongolia, we participated in the Mongol Rally Poles of Inconvenience 2022. This rally with a super shitty small car (Britney) will take us from Czechia to Georgia in the most inconvenient way possible. As the route is waaaaaayyyyy too easy, there are some checkpoints we need to hit on route to the finish line. A little detour to Sicily, Morocco, Iran, or Finland were all possible, which ones we will hit you can see in the 4 part series.
We did all of this in an effort to raise as much money as possible for the DEC Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal.

PART 1
In the first part of this series we arrive at the launch party and start making our way through Eastern Europe. Guess what? Europe is pretty big. Also, Britney is pretty slow. Maybe we’ve been a bit too optimistic with our planning. There is also some cute brown bear content and we might get stuck.
And this is only the beginning…
PART 2
Finally, time to start hitting some POLES!!! Thomas is birthday is also coming up, so might wanna get some presents for the man. We take some ridiculous roads to hit a POI in Bosnia as well, with a great camping spot next to a river. After this, we head to Italy to pay a visit to Thomas’ dad and start the most ridiculous part of the trip; heading for the biggest salt flat of the Sahara: Chott el Djerid, Tunisia.
The ferry from Palermo to Tunis unexpectedly was AWFUL… Hopefully, our tires don’t blow in the middle of the night in the desert, that would be pretty shitty.
PART 3
This episode is basically the story of our near-death experience in Tunisia. Pretty much everything went to shit on the Chott, and the civil protection, the fire department, and the army might have gotten involved. Should be a fun episode to watch!
Oh, and we hate salt flats. 0/10. Would not recommend.
PART 4
The final stretch to make up for our idiotic actions in Tunisia requires us to take some ferries again, and to drive through the night. 4 days to get from Albania to Tbilisi, Georgia. We might still try and stop by Cappadocia and the infamous D915 Death Road in Turkey. Not ambitious at all!
Let’s see if we’ll make it…
